Off to NAHBS this week

This is my first posting and I will try to keep all of you updated on a regular basis. My intentions with this blog are to relay information about Sadilah and the art of frame building. I am Chuck Schlesinger and I have been building steel frames with both lugged and fillet brazed construction for 3 years. Last year, SadiLah Handmade Framesets was founded. More information and photos of my work can be seen at www.sadilah.com

The week has been filled with the culmination of getting all my bikes ready for the North American Handmade Bicycle Show. Everything has gone well and at least I am not spraying clear coat the day before! The show runs from March 2-4 in San Jose, CA. For those of you that were there last year, you don't need any explanation. For the un-intiated, you must go! It is the only place in the world that you can go and see the best of the best in custom bicycles. It is a rare chance to meet the builders and see whats new.

I will be heading out on the long drive to San Jose on Thursday morning. Packed in my SUV will be my So-cal 6 bike, an Aero track bike, a classic road bike and my Cyclo-X bike. For those of you that will be there in attendance, stop by my booth and say hi. I will have the newest incarnation of the SadiLah T-shirt and knit beanies for sale. Also, any orders placed at the show will receive a 10% discount!

See you in San Jose
