Back from NAHBS

Well, I am bleary eyed today from the long drive home last night. This years NAHBS was incredible! The quality of frames and bicycles that were present was un-believable. For anyone coming to the show and for those of us that exhibited, there was so much eye-candy that it hurt your eyes. There were over 700 bikes and frames exhibited and not one of them was not spectacular. The talent that was present shows that the art of custom bicycle building is alive and well. The level of quality is un-matched. Those Europeans are going to be blown away when they start seeing the pictures filtering out via the internet.

On a personal level, the show was a great success for me. I sold a frameset and spoke with many cyclists who will be contacting me soon to place orders. My work was well received and you should see my Cylcocross bike in Dirt Rag Magazine very soon. I have enclosed a few pics of the bikes I showed this year.

Apart from the show, the weekend was fun filled. I got to see builders that I spend the year corresponding through email. The Friday night party was great with the Motherfluxers providing the musical entertainment. All in all, the show was great. I have already started thinking about the bikes I want tpo build for next years show which will be in Portland, Oregon.

You will hear from me soon-
